Description

A half-bent pipe with an old shool style.

This Chacom New Gentleman 1179 is a short and quarter-bent pipe with a matte light finish which lets show off the natural and beautiful grain patterns of the briar. Not only beautiful, this pipe with a oval-shaped bowl is lightweight (only 30g), and offers a comfortable mouth feel. It features with a vulcanite stem and a re-usable metal filter system (also called a condensing filter) that can be unscrewed for easy cleaning. This briar pipe has also a fairly substantial wall thickness to prevent the overheating.

A traditional briar pipe made in Saint-Claude, France.

Please note : these pictures are taken from a random selection of this pipe model in our stocks. Due to the nature of the raw material used, there will be some variation in grain pattern of the briar. The Chacom New Gentleman is made in Chapuis-Comoy & cie workshops by a team of creative diehards which preserve traditional processes and pipemaking techniques. This short briar pipe will be delivered in a branded cardboard gift box with a cotton bag.
