A handmade French creation, made in Saint-Claude
The Clément pipes were made by Mr Paul Clément, a handcrafter from Saint-Claude. Trained after the 2nd World War in the Jeantet-David manufacture, he then opened a souvenir store in the Pomme d’or district in Saint-Claude before devoting himself exclusively to the creation of briar pipes. During the summer season, he left his workshop in Saint-Claude for an Artisans’ village in the Arcachon Basin (Bay of Arcachon) where he presented his creations and made, among other things, briar pipes sculpted in the effigy of their husband for his female clients.
