This Peterson Churchwarden Prince is a classic long pipe with a smooth brown stain and an elegant nickel band. Its long vulcanite and fishtail mouthpiece offers a cool smooke and a comfortable mouth feel. In fact, its long stem is designed to take the smoke away from your eyes and allows for a cooler smoother smoke compared to a standard pipe. This Peterson Churchwarden Prince is a non-filter pipe.

The briar pipe in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. It will be delivered in its original Peterson gift box.

Peterson Of Dublin

Frederick and George Kapp opened a pipe shop in 1865 in London. Nine years later, Frederick opened his new shop in Dublin to craft and sell pipes from meerschaum as well as briar root, a relatively new material to the market. In 1876, Charles Peterson was recruited. Very imaginative and involved, he soon became the third partner in the business. Shortly after Frederick’s death, one of his two sons joined forces with Charles. The shop was renamed “Kapp & Peterson”. Over the years, he applied for and secure several patents, including the famous Peterson system in 1890 and the “P-Lip” in 1898. Since then, the brand is still very popular among briar pipe enthusiats all over the world.
