The French Pipe n°13 (black sandblasted finish)is a lightweight and straight briar pipe with a conical bowl (6 panels). This elegant smoking pipe is adorned with a stylish blue and white acrylic band, reminiscent of the timeless “marinière”, the emblem of French chic. This French Pipe is sold in a branded cotton drawstring dustbag with a classic 3-way Czech pipe tool, 20 long matches (9 cm) and a beginner’s guide.

THE FRENCH PIPE are made at the Chapuis-Comoy & Cie workshops near Saint-Claude, birth place of the briar pipe, by a team of creative diehards who preserve traditional processes and pipemaking techniques.
This lighweight and thin briar pipe can accommodate a 6mm balsa filter. Balsa is a soft and fibrous wood with 100% natural absorption capacities. It will retain condensation and impurities without affecting the taste of the tobacco. We suggest to replace the Balsa filter every 2-3 uses for optimal efficiency.
