THE FRENCH PIPE are made at the Chapuis-Comoy & Cie workshops near Saint-Claude, birth place of the briar pipe, by a team of creative diehards which preserving traditional processes and pipemaking techniques.
This lighweight briar pipe can accommodate a 6mm balsa filter. Balsa is a soft and fibrous wood with 100% natural absorption capacities. It will retain condensation and impurities without affecting the taste of the tobacco. We suggest to replace the Balsa filter every 2-3 uses for optimal efficiency.
