Perpetuating Traditions
We meticulously select our briar wood from the finest burls in the Mediterranean basin. The rough shapes, derived from these precious roots, undergo a cutting and curing process. This initial step is crucial for the future pipe’s flavor profile.
Once sorted, the rough shapes are naturally air-dried for an entire year on racks, regularly rotated in our drying room, one of the last of its kind still in operation worldwide. After calibration, our master pipemakers oversee the various stages of production.
