A RUSTICATED PETERSON PIPE

This Peterson Christmas 2022 Pipe is a straight Classic shape, also known as a neogene or billiard, featuring a rustic finish that is robust and full of character. A double copper ring, in spigot mounting, marks the transition between the briar and the “Fishtail” black acrylic stem. Note that this pipe can accommodate 9mm filters.

The specimen photographed is exactly the one you will receive. This pipe will be delivered in its original box from Peterson of Dublin Est. 1865.

PETERSON OF DUBLIN

Frederick and George Kapp opened a pipe shop in London in 1865, and 9 years later, Frederick opened his own briar and meerschaum pipe store in Dublin. In 1876, Charles Peterson was hired, very imaginative and involved, he quickly became the third partner of the brand. Shortly after Frederick’s death, one of his two sons joined forces with Charles, and the store was renamed “Kapp & Peterson.” Over the years, they filed several patents, including one in 1890 for the famous Peterson System and in 1898 for the P-Lip stem. To this day, the brand enjoys great success among briar pipe enthusiasts.
