Chapuis-Comoy & Cie, founded in 1825, is one of the oldest briar pipe factory in the world. Our workshops are located near Saint-Claude (France), birthplace of the briar pipe. Each year, we enrich and give a modern touch to our Chacom, Ropp and The French Pipe collections. Long or short, with a natural finish or a shiny colored stain, lightweight or with a XL size, with a classic or an unsual shape : we surely designed and crafted a briar pipe for you!

All our smoking pipes are still crafted according to the traditional processes and pipemaking techniques which define our pipes for generations. We are committed to serving our customers in France and around the world with increased distribution and availability. This ambition guided the opening of our Museum and Factory store in 2016 and is the reason why we launched, in October 2020 our e-shop, nomdunepipe.shop.
